Grodno region is one of the western regions of the Republic of Belarus, bordering on the countries of the European Union - the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Lithuania.
Area specialization: chemical industry, developed agro-industrial complex and agriculture, woodworking and light industry.
The Grodno region has a developed transport infrastructure (the largest railway junctions are in the cities of Grodno, Lida, Volkovysk, Mosty).
The region attracts investments from more than 30 countries, including the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Republic of Cyprus, the Republic of Poland, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Austria, the Republic of Lithuania and other countries.
Foreign investors successfully implement investment projects in the Grodno region: Kronospan (Republic of Austria), OLVI (Republic of Finland), Atlas (Republic of Poland), Group of Companies «Sodruzhestvo» (Russian Federation).
The Grodno region has competitive advantages for the investor to make a decision on the implementation of investment activities:

  • advantageous geographical position and developed infrastructure;
  • a single economic space with the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Armenia and the Kyrgyz Republic;

Preferential regimes operate on the territory of the Grodno region (for residents of the free economic zone «Grodnoinvest», for the territories of small and medium-sized urban settlements (except for the cities of Grodno and Lida).
